We are often asked questions like “Does Muraflo mean anything?”, “Why choose that name?”, “Did you make it up?”. The short answers are, yes it means something, we chose it for its meaning, and yes we made it up. Here is the slightly longer answer.
It Means Something…
We borrowed Muraflo from two simple words “mural” and “flow”.
One definition for a mural is an artwork that is painted or applied to a wall, ceiling, or other permanent surface.
Flow can be interpreted in a variety of ways including to move with ease and continuity, and to be in a state of flow.
Choosing It…
As our twofold intention is to create shower and bath products that people find aesthetically beautiful AND to make installation as smooth and easeful as possible, a marriage of mural and flow was a natural fit.
Making It Up…
Mural + Flow = Muraflo. Making it up was that simple.
